Frequently asked

I just installed it and the app is empty. Where's the data?

That's intentional — the app ships empty so it doesn't pretend you've watched matches you haven't. Open Watch List and tap "Load three sample matches", or hit "+" to add your own. Settings → Add three sample matches works too.

How do I add a match?

Tab 1 (Watch List) → "+" in the top-right → fill teams, format, venue, your result, rating and notes → Save. Tap any row in the list to edit or delete.

The calculator says "12.4" — is that 12.4 overs?

No, cricket overs notation is overs.balls. 12.4 means 12 complete overs and 4 balls (76 balls total). The Convert tab in the calculator turns notation into total balls and back. There's a reminder note built into that screen.

Quiz score didn't save.

Scores save when you finish a 10-question round and tap through to the summary screen. Closing the round early skips the save. Past rounds appear in the Quiz history list.

Can I sync between devices?

No — Damafet is fully offline by design. Data lives on this iPhone only. iCloud Backup, if enabled, may carry the app's database between Apple devices via Apple's restore flow, but there is no in-app sync.

How do I switch theme or turn off haptics?

Tab 5 (Settings). Theme has Match System / Always Light / Always Dark; haptic feedback is a toggle right under it.

I want to start over.

Settings → Reset everything (asks for confirmation). Removes all matches, quiz history, feedback notes, and onboarding state. Or just delete and reinstall the app from the App Store.

Send Feedback inside the app — does it actually send?

No. The feedback form saves locally as a draft notepad on your device. To send something to us, use the form above.

Is there a German version?

The app is listed in the German App Store but the in-app text is in English on purpose, aimed at the English-reading cricket community in Germany (expats, internationals, English-language cricket viewers).

Will there be in-app purchases or a subscription?

No. There never will be.
